I believe God wants to pour out his Spirit in the earth, to reveal his glory among the nations. Our amazing and loving God, our Heavenly Father, wants to show himself strong to those who would call him Lord! He is faithful, and has said in his Word how much he wants to commune with His people. He wants to pour out revival in our hearts, our homes, our churches, and our nations!
I am hearing of a renewed hunger for the things of God among His people. Hunger for his presence, his Word, and the moving of the Holy Spirit, has always been one of the most reliable signs that a significant move of God is about to break forth in the earth.
So how do we prepare World Ministry Fellowship to receive this fresh outpouring of the Spirit of God?
We get ourselves ready:
- We prepare our hearts before our God and King
- We endeavor to come into unity with the body of Christ around us
- We enter into fervent prayer for ourselves, our friends and family
- We step into obedience to all He has told us about our circumstances
- We do our best to live ready, with our lamps lit, full of the Holy Spirit
- We seek God expectantly for the “more” he has promised
I ask you to join me in seeking God and preparing ourselves for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our midst.
As I write this email, I am processing all that happened at the WMF Regional event in Tulsa recently. Over fifty of us gathered together to talk about Emotional Health and Ministry, and it really was a wonderful time of ministry, professional development and of course lots of good food and fellowship! Our speakers - Nancy Cook, Paul Freeman and Jim McCool - did a great job, and we even got some of our guests in a picture! Click here to see some pictures.
If you would like to attend our Northeast Regional event in Maryland, April 5-6th, 2019 please click here for more information or to register. There is also a regional event for the southern parts of Texas to be held in Cleveland, Texas on April 13th. To register, click here.
Luke 12: 31-32 “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and he will give you everything you need.
So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.”
